Savannah Wisdom chose to partner with Skillsbuilder to work with children from deprived backgrounds to help them build essential skills. We are pleased to share our mid year Impact Report. Building on the success of the programme with 5 schools in inner city Manchester, the foundation chose a further five schools in the North West where on average 40% of children are on free school meals. Higher levels of essential skills boost earnings, half the likelihood of being out of work and increase social mobility. The mid year 2024 impact report states a further 171 teachers have been trained and 724 children benefitted from learning essential skills such as problem solving, creativity, listening, staying positive and teamwork, which will help boost their life and job satisfaction, and promote social mobility.
